Rajendra Bahadur Lama, as the Managing Director of Friends Adventure Team Pvt. Ltd.   (FAT), has significantly contributed to the company's rise as a leading tour operator in the Himalayas. His influence extends beyond his company roles; he has played a vital part in the broader outdoor adventure tourism industry in Nepal. As a secretary member of the     Nepal Mountaineering Association, the president of the Nepal Canyoning Association,

and the Executive Director of the Nepal Tourism Board, Mr. Lama has been instrumental in advancing Nepal's tourism and outdoor sports sectors. His leadership and vision have   helped shape the industry, promoting sustainable tourism and enhancing Nepal's global    reputation as a premier destination for adventure enthusiasts.

Friends Adventure Team Pvt. Ltd. ( As the main tourism operator in Nepal, FAT has been a leader in outdoor adventure tourism since 1998. Under the leadership of Rajendra

Bahadur Lama, FAT signed a partnership agreement with Camping Home, aiming to

jointly establish a new channel for an international e-commerce platform, deepen supply chain trade cooperation, implement the cultural exchange camp project, and hold a

program covering sports, tourism, trade and literature. Bilateral and multilateral cultural exchanges and business activities in the fields of chemical and investment.

Our cooperation will provide convenient access to the Nepalese market for outdoor sports equipment supply chain enterprises focusing on mountaineering, hiking, and canyon

exploration, and customize export services for alpine canyon camp equipment.

Additionally, we will work together to comprehensively upgrade the entire process of

business visits and exchanges between Chinese tourists and business enterprises in Nepal, improving service efficiency and quality.

问：您是如何开始您在户外运动和旅游业的职业生涯的？是什么激励您从事这一行 业的？

答：我的职业生涯始于1998年，最初作为一名助理加入旅游业。对户外活动的热爱 和喜马拉雅山的雄伟景观激励我成为一名山地向导，这让我能将对徒步和探险的热 情与职业生涯结合起来。在向导的过程中，我不仅满足了自己对自然的热爱，还深 入了解了冒险旅游中的安全管理和客户满意度，这为我后来的职业发展奠定了基

Q: How did you start your career in outdoor sports and tourism? What motivates you to work in this industry?

Mr.Lama: My career began in 1998 and initially joined the tourism industry as an

assistant. My love for outdoor activities and the majestic landscape of the Himalayas

inspired me to become a mountain guide, which allowed me to combine my passion for

hiking and exploration with my career. In the process of the guide, I not only satisfied my

love for nature, but also had an in-depth understanding of safety management and

customer satisfaction in adventure tourism, which laid the foundation for my later career development.

Q: In view of the development and changes of the global tourism industry, what do you think are the biggest challenges and opportunities facing Nepal's tourism

industry?

Mr.Lama: In view of the development and changes of the global tourism industry, what do you think are the biggest challenges and opportunities facing Nepal's tourism

industry? Answer: The main challenges of Nepal's tourism industry include lag in

infrastructure development, environmental sustainability issues, and natural disaster risks that must be addressed. However, opportunities are also significant. As a hot spot for

adventure tourism, Nepal has the opportunity to attract more tourists by developing new

tourism routes and experiences . In addition, strengthening digital marketing and

promoting Nepal's unique cultural heritage will also help enhance the international image.

问：对于中尼合作，您有什么计划或展望？

答：中尼合作为我们提供了强化两国旅游和经济发展的重要机会。我们计划改善交 通连接、提升机场设施，并通过共同的市场营销活动来推广尼泊尔的旅游景点。此 外，我们还将在旅游基础设施和可持续旅游项目上寻求中国的投资和专业知识，以 支持尼泊尔的长远发展。

Q: What are your plans or prospects for China-Nepal cooperation?

Mr.Lama: China-Nepal cooperation provides us with an important opportunity to    strengthen the tourism and economic development of the two countries . We plan to improve transportation connections, upgrade airport facilities, and promote Nepal's tourist attractions through common marketing activities . In addition, we will seek   Chinese investment and expertise in tourism infrastructure and sustainable tourism projects to support Nepal's long-term development.

问：您会给那些希望进入户外运动和旅游行业的年轻人什么建议？

答：对于想要加入这个行业的年轻人，我建议首先培养对户外活动的热情并积极参 与。获取适当的培训和认证是关键，例如野外急救和登山指导等。此外，建立专业 网络、保持对行业趋势的了解，并不断提升个人的服务和沟通技能也同样重要。这 个行业需要对安全和可持续性负责，同时也要尊重当地文化和传统。

Q: What advice would you give to young people who want to enter the outdoor sports and tourism industry?

Mr.Lama: For young people who want to join this industry, I suggest that you first

cultivate enthusiasm for outdoor activities and actively participate in them. Obtaining

appropriate training and certification is the key, such as field first aid and mountaineering  guidance. In addition, it is also important to establish a professional network, maintain an understanding of industry trends, and continuously improve personal service and

communication skills. This industry needs to be responsible for safety and sustainability, while respecting local culture and traditions .

international friendly relations. This relationship is based on mutual respect and understanding and aims to promote lasting peace and common prosperity.
